Set of 6 #CarveDecember Reduction Prints
This is a set of six 4x6 reduction block prints created for #CarveDecember2024. The prints are signed and numbered.
Reduction block prints take days and days to create. Each layer of color is carved and printed and the block is destroyed by the end of the process, so the prints cannot be recreated. If it's an edition of 22 prints, that means only 22 prints were ever made from this block. You can see the reduction printing process in this video.
Each print is slightly unique and may not look exactly like the ones in the example photos. There are some color variations and in some cases I have used a variety of different papers (rice paper, cardstock, book pages) throughout the edition.
Prints will arrive in a hard mailer and can be framed together or separately. If you wish to frame them individually, you can can easily purchase 8x10 frames with a 5x7 mat included, such as this one. The 5x7 mat allows the signature and edition number to be viewed.
